Really pale, kind of a small well retained head. The aroma is actually more like a Helles than a Pale Lager. Some sweet grainy malt, some honey, but also some malt liquor corny and alcoholic notes too,.
The flavor is pretty much like malt liquor. Iím really surprised, lots of folks Iíve talked to said this had a very neutral flavor and fit the Bud Light name perfectly. It doesnít at all, the fusel corn, the alcohol, the light cloying sweetness, theyíre all there... folks who are paying inflated prices for a sixer of this would do well to go with Olde English 800... this is particularly worse than that beer and the label isnít nearly as nice looking. UPDATED: MAY 20, 2012 For some strange reason, Iíve been intrigued by this beer. I couldnít understand why it existed, nor was Bud eager to tell me. It took finding it in a friends fridge to try it. Honestly, itís been a while since Iíve had a Bud Light, but this does seem superior. Slightly richer corn malt flavor with that same watery taste and crisp flavorless finish. The alcohol is well hidden for a macro of this quality. Really not much here, though you could easily do worse in the cheap light macro category. bluejacket74 (1991) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - MAY 19, 2012
12 ounce bottle. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a clear straw gold color with a half inch white head that fizzled away quickly. Thereís a small amount of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is bready malt/grain, sweet malt and some vegetables/corn/adjuncts. Taste is similar to the aroma, but the vegetable/creamed corn flavor is stronger. Ugh, not good so far. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, itís a bit slick with low/moderate carbonation. It just seems to get worse the longer I drink it. The only bright sides to this brew is that the mouthfeel isnít bad, and that the 6% ABV isnít very noticeable. Bought this as a single at Liquor Barn. I wonít be trying this again anytime soon. Give me a regular Bud Light any day over this, Iím not joking. JoePeesie (925) - Long Lake, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Pours a clear watery gold with fizzy white head. Nose and taste is like over carbonated diluted well water. Not worth drinking more suitable for washing your dirty underwater or your familyís pet burro. jbruner (4702) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAY 16, 2012
Piss yellow pale lager in appearance, aroma, and taste, only difference is more alcohol. Basically bud ice reimaged.

12oz bottle-pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is spice, 2nd corn/rice. Taste is spice hops, 2nd sweet corn/rice/light malt. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Bottle. Pours a familiar light yellow. Small fizzy head head. Sweet grain aroma, maybe just a little better then regular Bud Light. Flavor is pretty similar to water, but I like water. Some carbonation. No aftertaste. Not unpleasant actually. Top Shelf, absolutely not, but Iíve had much worse. Iíd drink this again standing in the driveway with the neighbors or watching a football game. Evolutionary (498) - Ohio, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Bottle at big dons bday party. A weaker pale tasting macrobrew. Mild bitterness. Prob not order again but my mouth doesn't feel raped at least.

Iím not sure why Iím rating this, but here we go. Clear yellow, fizzy head. Cheap grain (corn), sweetness, and slightly musty. Very standard macro brew, but really not bad. If it was cheaper I would drink this as swill. blutt59 (6563) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 10, 2012
