Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula that’s triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

Getting a buzz just got a whole lot easier. Smooth, crisp taste, easy to drink. This will be my go to bbq beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is grassy/grainy. The flavor is mildly sweet malts. Really just a pale lager versus a light lager, not as nasty as Bud Light.

This poured a light yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of mild grain, some metal and light booze. Flavor was a bit fruit, liek diry pineapples, some light grain and a metalic finish, Bleh.

Clean, crisp and drinkable; a beer nerd’s worst nightmare. Can be found everywhere.

BeerBunker (965) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - APR 17, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours golden with a small, fizzy white head. Aroma is of very faint malt. Smells like bad water. Tastes like bad water, too. Not awful, just not much of anything at all. Beer flavored water, basically.

A very smooth drinking Beer with no after taste and it is as strong as Beat Ice, can’t wait to see how well this slides in summer when it’s warm out.

Pours a pale yellow with a fleeting white head. No nose - really. Lacing is slight. Palate is slightly sweet with extremely slight hop bitterness. Cabornation is low.The body is fuller than Bud Light. The alcohol boost is obvious. The operative understanding is this beer is "slight" except for the alcohol. It is "beer" because it meets the most basic requirements - made from whatever grain, yeast, hops (hopefully), and water, The bottle picture on this site is wrong. It is cobalt blue indicating it is a "chick" beer as is Michelob Ultra. Oh wait, why am I drinking it? Oh, right, I’m rating it :>). It’s the 6% alcohol befuddling me. Enjoy!

Another terrible beer from bud, these guys need to stop... also how is a light beer 137 calories? unbelievable, why is it so sweet? can anyone answer this for me? besides the 6% alcohol i would have given this bottle of sugar total 0.

ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 13, 2012
Not much to say here, an even sweeter version of Bud Light, which makes it nigh undrinkable.

12 oz bottle pours yellow with a white head. Aroma and taste are not to my liking. Another bad beer by the big brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
