COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula that’s triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2012 Umm, better than Bud Light... You don’t have to choke as many down, thanks to the increased alcohol, but it also does seem to taste a bit better. Or maybe "platinum" just *sounds* like it should be richer.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. This was very clear ans "trle filtered." A bit of a white head. A malty nose and flavor. This was surprisingly boozy for 6%. Ok, I have had it.

The best thing about this is the blue bottle. Not much different than Bud Light in color or flavor. What are they trying to make, "The first FULL calorie light beer"? Bud Light has become the Mountain Dew of the beer industry, put liquid in a bottle and hope it sells because of the name.

12 ounce bottle. Pours pale yellow with a decent white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grain. Taste is the same with a bit of skunk. As already stated, the best thing is the bottle.

Really not that bad. Would much rather have this then regular Bud Light. The added alcohol gives it a heftier mouthfeel then the regular and makes for a more enjoyable experience.

Hmm... Tastes just like the regular I’d say. Lightly stale and bready malts are more apparent - making for a more filling brew altogether. Much better than bud light, and only a tad better than carbonated horse urine. That’s right.

What can you say. A light beer at 6%. Rather sweet, with corn and sugar in the aroma and flavor. Not offensive, but not much here.

Made a buddy buy it and bring it to my super bowl party. Pours like hazy water, no lacing, little head. You can definitely smell the fusel alcohol in this one. Taste is somewhat odd, couldn’t really pick out the flavors, the taste gets worse as it warms, drink it ICE cold.

gold piss color, aroma is skunky corn, taste is rice corn skunk and lots of sweet water, don’t waste your money unless you are really desperate to get drunk just cause of the 6% ABV

It poured a light yellow color. The aroma was corn with some rice. The taste was very light and not good, rather bland.
