COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula that’s triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

Like the cobalt blue bottle, should blow up nice when shot in the sun. This is a good drinking beer for the swill drinkers like me...not bad at all.

I'm not a beer guy.. Bud Light Lime is about the only thing I can even tolerate because I hate the beer taste but this....this is a drink I'd do alot for. For some reason the beer taste on here wasn't overpowering but delicate and wonderful. This is the perfect Football game, beer, meat, beer. I love it 10/10

12 ox bottle. Tastes worse than you would expect. The platinum must just be a marketing ploy to trap you into buying something that is superior, but not really.

I'm not sure what they were going for here but this beer has some malt, corn and spicy hop flavor that is metallic, papery and has a hint of charcoal.

From bottle to cup. For starters, I found the 6% to be a little odd for a "Light" beer, but OK, whatever. Pours light yellow, but has a bit of a faint pinkish hue. The head is white and fluffy. Retains well. Aroma is grain. Not offensive, but certainly nothing rich and inviting. Flavor is cereal grain and a bit of a harsh huskiness in the back half of the palate. Thin mouthfeel, high carbonation. This was not terrible. Better than most of the macros, mostly because there are less off-flavors.

Like them to get more fucked up, the consistency of the good first taste ends and it's not that good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I don't see the appeal to this beer, it honestly tastes worse than a regular bud light. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared at Cotteridge convention 05/03/2016. Thanks! A very pale yellow coloure pour with a fine white head. Aroma is spicy pale grains, corn, adjunct, wet, adjunct. Flavour is composed of sweet sweaty pale grains, apple and corn. harsh finish. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Pretty clean overall.

Pale gold with minimal white head. Aroma has just a hint of grain. Dry with a suggestion of malt (and none of hops) and a nuance of raw almond. Finish is . . . oh wait . . . it is gone and left no traces of itself.

In so many words, it is the amped up version of Bud Light that tastes and smells a microcosmic better than its legendary base recipe.

12oz bottle. Pours pale yellow clear color. Very light malty flavor but really pretty bland. Best thing to say about it is that it is refreshing on a hot day, but then again so is water. Not great but nothing really unpleasant about it either. Basically Bud light with some extra booze.
