Bottle 30cl. Deep brown color with a medium off white head that fades. Aroma reminds of fruits, strawberry? Taste is fruitful too with a bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice touch for a bock beer, but somehow it tastes a little chemical.

MADpalace (219) - Budel, NETHERLANDS - SEP 23, 2014
Had both the 2013 edition and the newly brewed 2014 edition at a tasting. The 2013 is more red-brown where the 2014 is more dark/black-brown. Both with creamy disappearing head. The 2014 smells a bit acid where the 2013 is slightly sweeter. Both not that many smell. Flat taste of caramel, nuts and herbs (2013) or licorish with acid after taste (2014). When you keep this beer for one year in a bottle it becomes a real bock beer, as the newly brewed version is more towards a stout.
