Draught. Dark ruby brown beer, thin creamy head. Dark caramel, some dried fruits and a touch of herbal hops. Fruity flavor with caramelly and bready malts. Al hint of toast. Medium body, soft carbonation. Pleasant. Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - OCT 15, 2011
Draught at Tuulensuu, Tampere. Reddish brown color. Sweet bready malt aroma. Bready malt flavor with nuts, warming fruity alcohol, licorice, raisins, chocolate and caramel. Tastes initially sweet but alcohol dryes the finish. Alcohol character is fairly strong but still mellow and typical for bocks. One of the better Budels beers. olio (10547) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 14, 2011

Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu as "Budels Herfstbock"Benzai (16682) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 28, 2011
Aroma is sweet with brown sugar - feels like belgian strong. Flavour is sweet with syrup, brown sugar, honey and some spices. Malty finish with some alcohol, sugary aftertaste. Rather sweet bock, but sugar-sweet and not malt-sweet like bocks usually are. A ’belgian bock’, I’d say.
Bottle @ home as "Budels Herfstbock". Very nice deep dark brown / red / amber colored beer, off-white head. Smell malts and caramel. Decent taste again with malts and caramel. Not really special but a decent beer.

Bottle: Budels Herfstbock:
Light brown foamy head on top of an amber brown colored beer.
Smell toasted malts, dark spices, caramel.
Taste is good drinkable with a nice bitter touch to it.
Not sweet at all, just a nice bittering: toasted malts, caramel, dark fruits and spices. Soft on the tongue, mid body. maupie (1103) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - NOV 12, 2010
After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained not much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear ruby color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a roasted malty touch. This beer smells light caramally. Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 23, 2010
