Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Ruby red colour, beige head. Aroma is hops, grass and some fruits. Flavour is flowery hops and some malts. Not much aftertaste.

from crackedkettle.com - clear brown colour with a fast disappearing beige foam; aroma of toffee and glue; sweet and a bit sticky; medium malt backbone; aftertaste of malt and caramel with a touch of anise and some residual sweetness - cheap

Bottled (BB 03/2009)
Courtesy of bierkoning. Ty Edo! Clear ruby color, creamy brownish head. Metallic, caramelly and grassy hoppy aroma. Grassy hoppy flavor, some roasted caramel, simple rawy flavor - very typical Budels beer - simple and metallic. Aftertaste has sugars and light alcohol.

Tap Bokbierfestival, Amsterdam: Brown ruby sweet but also bitter bock from the smallest of the big Dutch brewers.

iep (230) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2007
Dark translucent red body, small head. Sweet, malty aroma, some soapiness. Vanilla and barley in the taste, with an (again, kind of soapy) hop-bitterness. Decent balance. Some liqourice in the finish, which was quite dry for the style.

Bottle 33cl. Poured a pale reddy brown, with no prominent head. A woody, malt aroma, with hints of nuts and strong alcohol. Not too hoppy in smell. Flavour is rich malty/nutty. Hints of whisky accompanying the alcohol level. Lasting bitter alcoholic finish, with a little sweetness. Quite a light palate. Not a bad bock.

Bottle at home. Not so sure about this one. Sweet scent. Sweet, caramel and sour flavor. Sharper aftertaste.

rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 29, 2006
Bottle at Monks Cafe, Stochkolm. Nice amber color, offwhite head. Malty, somewhat nutty aroma. Malty and a bit sourish flavor, nutty notes and somewhat fruity.

So I thought that while I was here in A’dam and it is the fall that I should try some different Bocks. This one poured a dark rich brown color with a tan head that quickly disapaited. flavor was much like a wee heavy, with rich malty notes, some carmel and dried fruit. not the most enjoyable, but okay.
