Jerre (3823) - Waregem, BELGIUM - SEP 23, 2006
Bottle 30 cl, by Bio Planet. Gold color, a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy and honey in it. Taste is sweet, fresh. Honey and citrus in it some hops.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2006
(Bottle 33 cl) Very pale pilsener golden with a small, rough, white head. A light malt aroma. A bit low in carbonation. Thin and sloppy body, malty with a sweetish note - perhaps the honey shining through? - and a wee metallic edge. Very discreet bitterness. Purely organic, but it doesn’t help much. 150606

sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 4, 2006
(Bottled) Slightly hazy, very pale yellow color with a very small and completely fading head. Mild, honey-malty berry aroma. Slightly sour-acidic, sweet-honeyish, berryish flavor with hints of tingly hops. very light-bodied, very fizzy-carbonated palate. A quite worthless beer - sweet and thin, and not even refreshing.

gilvanblight (825) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 27, 2006
Pale straw yellow with a thin bubly head. Weak sweet hopish scent. Watery grainy taste with some honey sweetness and a touch of hops. A bit above most macro honey beerts but not much. Clean finish and very easy to drink.

(Rating #409)

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2006 This beer reminds me of a film without actors: it has NO CHARACTER. It also kinda reminds me of Kate Moss, after the whole cocaine incident: like her, this is THIN AND PATHETIC. I can’t make this clearer: this is barely even a beer. Where’s the head, the body, the flavour? Frustrating. At the same time, it’s better than some of the crap honey lagers we get here...better to taste like nothing than compost.

I can smell the honey in the beer and unfortunately it is not what I like smelling in a beer. Straw coloured body with a poor head. My boss woud call this an AFL....another f***ing lager, only he would still drink it, and probably enjoy it. The taste is pretty bland, grain and honey combine together, but not in a good way, fairly thin and one is more than enough.
