3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
300 ml bottle, poured into a lager glass at home. ABV 4,5%
Deep golden in colour, with one finger of hite head, going down straight away, but leaving eventually a thin film to cover the beer’s surface. Average activity in the glass.
Heavy aroma of honey, along with lots of malts.
The taste is much better. Quite sweet of course, with the honey flavour being quite intense. Very slight bitterness on the aftertaste.
Medium on the body, average carbonation.
I don’t think it could be my favourite but it was somewhat enjoyable. It would be even better though if the honey taste was more discreet and not so straight-in-your-face.
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2018 Bottle @ Gusto040, Eindhoven. Slightly cloudy lager, white foamy head. Honey-ed up lager, light ripe apples; firm, clean flavours especially considering only 4%abv. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. SilkTork (6011) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2018
300ml dark bottle, filtered, for 79p from the amazing BeerWulf. Fuck this is a shit beer. One of the worse tasting I've had for a while. It's a greasy lager with honey and powdery hops. It's a right fucking mess is what it is. Gangstergafje (1437) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - DEC 28, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2017 28-12-2017; bottle; at home (bought at beerwulf.com, part of their Sinterklaas box 2017).
The looks of the beer are very simplistic. The colour of the beer is golden yellow. It has a nice golden glow. The beer is clearer than the clearest glacier water. Not a lot of gas bubbles can be seen. On top of the beer some rough white foam is formed. Foam retention is low. Not even a drape is left after a while.
The smell of the beer is fine. There are some sweet malts, covered by the sweet honey. Hops give a spicy note. Yeast gives an in my opinion slightly meat like aroma. There is also a touch of metal. Not the best smelling beer around.
The taste is the same. Some rather thin and watery malts, covered by some honey. Yeast gives a slight bitterness, a bit spicy and herbal. Yeast gives some sweet notes. Again I taste some metal.
The palate of the beer is average. Light body, thing body and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer is short and contains some bitter hops and some sweet touches of honey. All in all, a drinkable beer, but not very good. Low average it is. TomHendriksen (1196) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 27, 2017
Fles gekregen van Roelzie1986 en Koen, thuis geprobeerd. Het is een lichtbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een typische honinggeur. De smaak is zacht, zoet de honing is duidelijk aanwezig. DwarfeD (3501) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - JUN 14, 2017
Bottle shared with my wife. Clear dark golden with a medium white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite sweet. Honey, caramel and malts. Mediocre.

Bleekgeel bier met kleine witte kraag die snel verdwijnt. Zoet en prikkelend bij de eerste slok. Aroma van honing, gras en brood. Fris, maar wel wat saai. Te weinig bitter. JefVerstraete (3939) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - JAN 19, 2016
