Bottle: Big vast white foamy head on top of a clear dark orange colored beer. Smell spices, honey, fruits, orange, hops, flowers and sweets. Taste is a fruity mix of sweets, bitter with spices and hops. Nice bitter, soft on the tongue and mid body.

I did like this beer from Budels. Good colour, smell is a bit wort-like but not in a bad way. Tastes okay, nice body, easy mouthfeel.

Bottle of 300 ml, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV is 7,5%. Ingredients are water, barley malt, wheat malt, sugar, hops and coriander. Pours a deep orange colour, with two fingers of off-white head. Average retention , it does leave some light lace as it goes down. Aroma is mostly fruits, with prunes coming to mind, some alcohol and some vanilla notes. Taste is sweet with some bitterness at the end coming from the alcohol mostly. Brings to mind a good port wine. Medium to full on the body, average carbonation. Nice beer, it offers a nice warming feeling along with the great taste.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2006 Re-rate, bottled, 1 year old: Lovely floral aroma with lots of spices. Dark amber color, beige head, very nice lace. Sweet, hint of fruity sourness, light bitter, pretty spicy but not annoying, light fruity. Medium body, light sticky. One extra year did much good to the beer. Sep 2001, 3.2: Starts off a little sweet but then finishes a bit bitter.

Bottle, 7.5%. Fruity and peppery tea aroma. The flavour has plenty of coriander, a bit sweet and peppery.
