Pitch dark brown with small brownish foam head. Aroma is pure sugar. Taste is sugar, caramel, the whole sweet candy store. A drink my mother would have liked. OK I have added it to the list. (Velp 201302)

30 ml. bottle @ home, bought @ Santé, Geldermalsen Clear dark brown with a beige head. Sugar and caramel aroma with a hint of roasted malts. Taste is very sweet as fitting for the style. Short finish. Not a very exciting beer but decent for how it was intended.

Inoven (746) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUN 10, 2016
Flesje gedeeld met Tom. Zeer weinig aroma. Roodbruin, helder bier. In de smaak alleen maar zoet. Geen nasmaak.

vinivini (2399) - Gomel, BELARUS - MAY 8, 2016
Bottle. Dark brown, bronze highlights. Weak off-white head. Low retention. Smells of caramel, toast, some dry fruit. Light body. Oily texture. Tastes sweet with notes of toast, caramel, sweet malt, minimal roast. Low bitterness. Not bad for that ABV.

Bottle. Brown with ruby color, foam is not bad, a little cream. Sweet aroma with caramel. Taste light, sugary sweet and caramel, too sweet :(

Dunkelbraunes Bier mit schönem beigen Schaum. Geruch dünn malzig, sonst keine Aromen. Geschmack sehr süß malzig. Kein besonderes Bier.

Christos (5761) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2013
Bottle 300 ml at home, poured into a stemmed glass. ABV 3.5% Brown colour on the body, looks darker than it actuallis . Two full fingers of light brown to off-white eventually head, with very good retention and nicely formed webs of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is very malty and sweet. A little bit of roastiness, wet corn flakes. Very sweet taste, very malty, ends with a light metallic flavour, some light soft drink acidity as well, like someone poured a 7up in it. Very thin on the body, average carbonation, that still doesn’t manage to make it taste less flat. Overall very sweet, as all of the dutch oud bruins I have tried, ideal for kids maybe.

blackisle (2582) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2013
Deep dark brown, small creamy tan head, disappears after a while; sweet roasty nose, caramel, brown sugar; medium sweet, slightly bitter; light body, thin texture, average carbonation; sweet sugary finish with hint of bitterness.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 4, 2013
The head is medium, the body brown. It smells sweet-caramel. The taste is malty sugary, cane sugar. Overall a bit too sweet. 11/8/7/8/11/8
