A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with a slight acidic note too. The flavor is sweet again with a slight acidity, but also with strong notes of cinnamon. joergen (28148) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2006

(Bottle 30 cl) Pours a beautiful clear light brown with a small, brownish head. Malty, sweetish aroma. Light body with notes of roasted malt and caramel - not unlike a Danish "hvidtøl". Sweetish, but not cloying. 120206 fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 18, 2006
Dark brown color. Sweet aroma, caramel. Very sweet and non-beer. Kids drink, nothing serious. Beerhunter111 (20482) - P´Castle, GERMANY - JAN 14, 2014

Medium vast creamy light tan and slow disappearing head on top of a light cloudy deep dark amber brown colored beer.
Smell malts, pils malts, some toasted barleys malts, hit of hayish grains and light hint of sweat.
Taste sweets barley malts, light toasted barley malts, toasted grains, a light hint of brown sugars, hint of something molasses a like, light hint of sweet tar, caramel, caramelised grains.
Low bitter sweet grainy aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light creamy texture.

Bottle at home. Dark brown in colour. Sweet nose. Sugary, malty taste. Caramel and toffee flavours. Pretty good. Christos (5787) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2013
Bottle 300 ml at home, poured into a stemmed glass. ABV 3.5%
Brown colour on the body, looks darker than it actuallis . Two full fingers of light brown to off-white eventually head, with very good retention and nicely formed webs of lacing left on the glass.
Aroma is very malty and sweet. A little bit of roastiness, wet corn flakes.
Very sweet taste, very malty, ends with a light metallic flavour, some light soft drink acidity as well, like someone poured a 7up in it.
Very thin on the body, average carbonation, that still doesn’t manage to make it taste less flat.
Overall very sweet, as all of the dutch oud bruins I have tried, ideal for kids maybe.

Very sweet and mild, but a little thin bodied. Reminds me of Hvidtøl.
