Golden orange appearance. No carbonation and slightly dry. Sharp and clean tasting.I can understand that this may not be to everybodys taste but I found it quite pleasant on a (very rare ) warm English Summers evening.,

Having tried some of this brewers beer before and found them all very good this was a real let down. Poured from the bottle it was flat and lifeless. although it has a clean taste there is not a lot of flavour to get to grips with. Not what I had expected and look forward to drinking.

downender (8481) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2007
330 ml bottle. Yellow with moderate carbonation and slight white head. Aroma of pleasant floral hops followed by some muted herb flavours and a sweet finish which was a bit overpowering given that what came before was rather subtle. Rates above most Euro lagers, but doesnt really come together.

TBone (17062) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 8, 2007
Bottled (BB 12/2007)
Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Slightly skunky corn aroma in the nose. Watery palate. Grassy hoppy and sweet malty flavor with apply champange-like notes. Grassy aftertaste. Typical below average beer from Budels with cheap-like flavors.

ALLOVATE (2981) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2007
From this fairly reliable brewer I did expect a lot more. Not going to nag so on with it.
Dusty and musty old grains, a lick of Crunchy peanut-butter, some dried up corn kernels and something dank I just cant quite put my finger on greets the nostrils, not the least bit appealing. Looks lifeless in the glass - a bubble here, a bubble there inside its lemon yellow body. Head failed to form and appeared stricken with oil deposits in what suds managed to float (yes, the glass was clean!). Again peanut-butter; the first mouthful falls dead on salted peanuts, the presence of Kraft Im sure. It is dusty, the malts like old farmers loaf combine with a zeal of sourish malt and hops that follow on into the salty spread swallow. Body is light, the carbonation a little acidic. Kind of mish-mashed flavour-wise, everything bounces around to where it is not wanted. I couldnt get into this one let alone get it at all. Not my thing!!! (30cL, Jul 07, Intl Beer Shop, W. from crackedkettle.com - translucid golden colour with a fast vanishing foam; fair aromatic floral hoppiness, clean and medium palate, some sweetness before a solid dry bitterness; long herbal and flowery finish - charming

Bottle, light golden, quite hoppy beer, a reasonable lager that seems to have transfered to bottle better than expected having read the keg reviews below.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 25, 2006
(Bottled) Clear, golden color with a small head. Very faint aroma of slightly corny malt and hints of vegetables. Vegetably-malty, sweetish flavor with honey and low bitterness, but some hop bite in the finish. Light-bodied, quite watery palate with fizzy carbonation. If you only have a choice between Kikbier and this, choose this, as it has more beery looks and at least some hops. Otherwise, grab yourself a real beer!
