Medium white head quickly shrinks into a thin white film. Yellow body. Grainy mealy aroma with barn notes. Sweetish earthy resiny taste with buttery fruity notes. Slick, smooth mouthfeel. Grainy, sharpish background. Touches of straw and rubbery. Not bad. (0.33l bottle, Spar, Dublin.) mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 24, 2007
[680-20070924] Keg @ Royal Oak (Bath, SM). Metallic smelly yeast aroma. Slightly hazy, pale yellow body with a medium bubbly white head. Tastes like asparagus. Bubbly light body. Not great, not bad, just boring. HenrikSoegaard (14237) - Randers, DENMARK - NOV 27, 2007
Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Moderate bitter averqage finish. POily palate. Nice malty pilsener. saxo (18945) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2007
Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt and hops. Semi oily palate. DownsouthGav (601) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2007
Cask in Bath somewhere!
Nose is of grass and hops. Pours a yellow colour beer. Some carbonation. Taste is a bit weak compared to other Bath ales. But then this is a lager. As it is it wasn’t bad there were some spciy elements to savour.

Golden orange appearance. No carbonation and slightly dry. Sharp and clean tasting.I can understand that this may not be to everybodys taste but I found it quite pleasant on a (very rare ) warm English Summers evening.,downender (8693) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2007

Having tried some of this brewers beer before and found them all very good this was a real let down. Poured from the bottle it was flat and lifeless. although it has a clean taste there is not a lot of flavour to get to grips with. Not what I had expected and look forward to drinking.
330 ml bottle. Yellow with moderate carbonation and slight white head. Aroma of pleasant floral hops followed by some muted herb flavours and a sweet finish which was a bit overpowering given that what came before was rather subtle. Rates above most Euro lagers, but doesn’t really come together. TBone (17699) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 8, 2007

Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Slightly skunky corn aroma in the nose. Watery palate. Grassy hoppy and sweet malty flavor with apply champange-like notes. Grassy aftertaste. Typical below average beer from Budels with cheap-like flavors.
From this fairly reliable brewer I did expect a lot more. Not going to nag so on with it.larsniclas (7111) - Billdal, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2007
Dusty and musty old grains, a lick of ’Crunchy’ peanut-butter, some dried up corn kernels and something dank I just can’t quite put my finger on greets the nostrils, not the least bit appealing. Looks lifeless in the glass - a bubble here, a bubble there inside it’s lemon yellow body. Head failed to form and appeared stricken with oil deposits in what suds managed to float (yes, the glass was clean!). Again peanut-butter; the first mouthful falls dead on salted peanuts, the presence of Kraft© I’m sure. It is dusty, the malts like old farmer’s loaf combine with a zeal of sourish malt and hops that follow on into the salty ’spread’ swallow. Body is light, the carbonation a little acidic. Kind of mish-mashed flavour-wise, everything bounces around to where it is not wanted. I couldn’t get into this one let alone get it at all. Not my thing!!! (30cL, Jul ’07, Int’l Beer Shop, W. Pale golden with a large white head.
A bit sourish aroma with maize and peas.
Really grassy flavour with the wet peas present aswell. Pretty malty and bitter.
