On tap at the brewery
Clear dark brown with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma and flavors are roasted malts, coffee with a dry finish
Nice, mild stout
Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a near-black color. Nose is just what I like from a stout, with a lot of roasting in there and just a bit of coffee. Taste is slightly sweet up front, with a large amount of roasting and just a hint of chocolate. With all this, it remains light and easy to drink. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - DEC 19, 2013
A: dark brown with excellent clarity and a ring of light tan foam. No lace.
S: smells nutty. Reminds me of an English Nut Brown ale. Some hints of coffee and plastic.
T: hmm. Not good. The alcohol is strong. There are weird and nasty fruity esters. Tastes like it fermented way too hot.
M: thin. Semi dry.
O: of the beers I have tried of theirs, this one is the least enjoyable. Needs serious attention.
Serving type: on-tap

Great color, nice coffee/chocolate aroma. My uncle refers to it as a porter.
Nice dark black. Unable to see through it..
Flavor was lacking. To be fair I only had a sample glass and moved on to the stronger flavored beers.
The budges offer a black ipa once in a while that combines the punch of the ipa and the color of their stout.. that beer is a winner.
Its always fun to stop in and see what new flavor they’re brewing.
