COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a blend of two-row caramel malt and four types of domestic hops, Budweiser Black Crown is finished on a bed of Beechwood chips for a smooth, balanced taste. Incorporating the proprietary yeast directly descended from the original Budweiser yeast strain used by Adolphus Busch in 1876, Budweiser Black Crown retains the key characteristics of Budweiser with its clean taste and high drinkability. Featuring more body, color and hop character than the flagship lager, it also has a slightly higher alcohol content at 6% ABV.

Pours amber with a frothy, white head that stays long. Smells a bit tinny. Flavor is bland: light malty sweetness and faintly grassy hop finish. Thin and watery. Lively carbonation. Tolerable beer, which is surprising for a Budweiser product. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this one when it was a project beer with number 91406. Smooth and light with some mellow and creamier flavors.

Black Crown seems to be Budweiser’s half-assed attempt to compete with craft brewing. To be fair, it does have a flavor that’s slightly smoother and a bit more complex than your standard Bud product. That’s about all that I have to say about it that’s positive. I did enjoy calling it Budweiser Ass Clown with friends, though.

Well this is easily the best and most flavorful bud product I’ve had... I think. Aromas of lemon, vanilla, rhubarb. Sour but watery flavors. Decent. But thin and lacking any real strong flavors.

Bottle. Budweiser on roids hahaha. Nah this isn't too bad brewed here in Canada so tastes slightly better than Aussie version. I'm getting light caramel malts. Not much else. Average stuff overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is a slight step up from a regular budweiser, but that ain’t sayin’ much. It’s bland and boring and not very flavorful. Another one rated and under the belt...

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2015 Taste of alcohol carbonation and grain. Not enjoyable. Thin fading head. Sweetness taste of Budweiser. Pass. I had one sit a year and it improves
