COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a blend of two-row caramel malt and four types of domestic hops, Budweiser Black Crown is finished on a bed of Beechwood chips for a smooth, balanced taste. Incorporating the proprietary yeast directly descended from the original Budweiser yeast strain used by Adolphus Busch in 1876, Budweiser Black Crown retains the key characteristics of Budweiser with its clean taste and high drinkability. Featuring more body, color and hop character than the flagship lager, it also has a slightly higher alcohol content at 6% ABV.

On tap @ Royal Oak Ottawa. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is faint but has a slight hint of sweetness. Taste is kind of like what you would expect if you squeezed the beer out of a soaked rug the day after a college kegger. Some spent grain, alcohol and a slight hop bitterness trying to mask the cheap adjunct dominance. Very thin, moderate carbonation and a medium tinny finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Pours amber with a small white ring. Aroma is cereal grains and sweet light caramel. Taste is bland, non offensive, nicely carbonated and some caramel.

Super light on the hops, but at least I can taste some. Light cara malts, on the sweet side too. Relatively refreshing. Light bready finish. Not horrible, much better than regular bud.

Aroma: Mostly caramel overall, pretty clean and simple but nothing in terms of hop presence. Appearance: Light copper with a sustained, foamy white head. Flavor: Caramel, some light toast and even a touch of apple; the finish has a slight odd tang when cool but that went away as the beer warmed. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Mostly drinkable if not a little flawed; one could certainly do worse in a pinch.

pours clear amber-orange with a decent off-white head, some retention and lacing. nutty caramel, toasted wild rice, fruity - peaches, grass, some sweetness, faint to no woodsy notes. moderate carbonation, light body - fairly oily, velvety, short and a bit sweet grassy-herbal finish. o-k.

Bottle. A Little more potent than most beers. Good taste with a little bit of a bite.

Tap at TOFB, pours a bright yellow, a clean and crisp lager, overall pretty refreshing better then regular bud for me.

cannette 355 ml. 6%.
