Believed to be produced at Samlesbury but it’s not possible to be certain - unfortunately, AB InBev doesn’t seem to consider it important to provide consumers with full information on all their brands, or their provenance.

“A lightly carbonated lager brewed with a touch of sweetness for a smooth, easy taste at 4% abv, Bud ’66′ is a winning concept. Inspired by the lengths our brewmasters go to create the perfect beer, we named it Budweiser Brew No. 66 after the winning recipe number that had the perfect balance of ingredients creating the taste we know consumers will love.”

Budweiser Brew No. 66 is a 4% alcohol by volume lager that is brewed and distributed in the United Kingdom by InBev UK Limited. Launched in July 2010, Budweiser 66 is the newest member of the Budweiser family of beers with 84 calories in a 300 ml serving (just over 10 oz).

Pours a white head but doesn't last long. Golden color. Refreshing malty taste. Pretty good.

I like it, I know it’s a mass produced commercial lager but it’s got a nice aftertaste, it’s light drinkable and matches a sunny day.

I know you die hard if its not local its *rap brigade will hate this, but Bud 66 is just perfect for coming home to after a long slog of a day. Fresh, slightly sweet and refreshing, best taste of any light beer. Fantastic

Normal Bud I can deal with but this is terrible piss water. Do not buy this grim stuff. 1/10.

As fas as Bud goes this is actually drinkable, it would be my go to out of the mass produced rubbish lager world

Not really a pouring type beer, more of a drink it out the bottle at a BBQ beer. Not a lot on the nose bit earthy with a bit of tortilla chip. Not much to say except it is beer and on a hot day with mates looking for a cheap lager day it does just fine

smells of nothing looks like stale pee tastes thin and watery, flavour of brown sugar mixed in water, bog standard better than some even so!

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2014 [Bottle at Coast 2 Coast, Stevenage) Although most people love to hate it, I personally have no objections to the standard Budweiser. It?s crisp, clean and easy-drinking (albeit lacking in flavour) and is pretty refreshing on a hot day. I therefore thought a lower abv version would actually be a good idea, as you don?t necessarily want something as strong as a regular bud on a hot day. Unfortunately this was nothing like regular Bud. It pours a pale gold, but the thin white head vanishes almost immediately. There?s a very mild fizz, but this had died by the end leaving the beer flat. The beer is very bland and watery, with little taste other than mild soggy cardboard. It?s rubbish, makes me think of what the bad Sainsbury?s economy lager I tried last year would have been like if I?d have left it open overnight. Oh well, hopefully that will be my sole pale lager over and done with for the year!

Bottle @ home. A peely-wally colour with little aroma. Taste of corn and corn sugars. Not very good really. What did I expect though? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle from Tesco - Piss yellow, no head. Nose is sweet and grainy. Taste is just sweet. Sickly and sugary. Nondescript palate. Ideal for the BBQ crowd.
