Keg @ Cask, Manchester. Reddish-brown with a small head. Crisp with a heavy cherry flavouring.

Not generally a fan of fruit beer but quite enjoyed this dark cherry on keg at the baum rochdale.

HoppyScallywag (339) - Butler, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2016
This has a nice dark red/brown color in the sun. Smells sweet. It’s a little sweet at first but mellows a little as it’s drunk. Cherry is definitely there....also, I’d say a little raisin, too.

jamesie1857 (1980) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2016
On keg at Blake Hotel, Walkley - Deep rich brown, lumpy froth on top. Nose is overwhelming cherry. Sweet on the nostrils. Taste is more of a sour dry cherry, nice dry after kick too. Quite a fun beer.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8142) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 1, 2016
Sampled on draft at Hou Thoug this beer poured an almost black color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy tan head that left great lacing. The aroma was black cherry and cola. The flavor was tart black cherry with a bit of wood, cola and an odd almost medicinal note. Long tart black cherry finish. Medium body. Ok.

midovark (1076) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - JAN 25, 2016
0.33 bottle in Czech Republic. Sweet cherry and caramel aroma and reddish black color with a short lived foam. Taste: sour and bitter, quite balanced.

3.2
imdownthepub (15331) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2016
Keg at The Beerd, Oxford. Virtually black with short lived head. There are darkly roasted malts here, maybe a touch thin but there is a roasty character, some chocolate hints. All this is to carry a bitter / sweet cherry flavour, quite tart and lasting on the palate. Reasonable.

downender (8890) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2015
Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 8/12/2015. Dark brown with plenty of fizz. This was dominated by black cherry, with some sweetish malts and a tangy finish. Not really for me.

3.2
dnicolaescu (2709) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - NOV 20, 2015
ON TAP at Budweiser Pub, Chișinău. Murky and dark ruby-red, grayish-pink head. Aroma is mostly dry stale cour natural cherries. Taste: dried cherries, not at all artificial or sweetened, quite dry. Light cherry tartness, some CO2, but not the brutal soda water acidity. The finish has a light and pleasant hoppy, roasty and cherry stone bitterness. Not a conventional beer, as the cherry is overwhelming, a good fruity drink with enough beer nevertheless.

artemb (1178) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - NOV 19, 2015
It’s all about cherry and roasted malt. Aroma is cherry and roasted malt, taste has cherry sourness and roasted bitterness, aftertaste is also roasted and sour. Flavour: roasted malts, cherries, rotten cherries, some hops. Good and balanced.
