Golden with a white head. Heavily carbonated. Aroma is skunky. Good malt body to it. Very light and fizzy on the tongue. The hops are weak and only noticable right away, the flavor then fades into sweet water towards the end.

My Slovak roomate brought me a can from home. I only wish I had this kind of Budweiser at my home. Poured colden with a good with head. Floral aroma with a good hoppy flavor. Compared to the belgains i’ve been drinking, this isn’t too interesting, but it is certainly one of the best lagers I’ve had.

Nice clean flavor, although a bit mild in my opinion; the grassy hops do come through and blends well with the malts. A well made and enjoyable example of this style. Get it in the large 500ml brown bottle as I did.

The best example of a Czech golden beer. You can taste the malt/hop ingredients which is sadly missing from so many ’fast brewed lagers’ I have found it at its best jsut lightly chilled, 12-14^c

The good bud. This one is worth the price. A great refreshment. Tick white head, golden color, floral and grassy aroma. Hoppy flavor. Light beer that goes down well.

The way a bohemian pils ought to look and taste--deep golden in color, dense head, well balanced between crisp hoppiness and lightly sweet maltiness.

atpayne (615) - Zionsville, Indiana, USA - NOV 15, 2005
Very clear golden yellow with a snow white head. The aroma is a sweet, but quite clean malt aroma. Light and crisp pils flavors. Sweet malts with decent activity. Not real hoppy, but a mild grassy hop on the finish. Nice clean beer.

jdjuice (500) - Kumamoto, JAPAN - NOV 10, 2005
Very light beer, well balanced and refreshing. No flavors are too overbearing, which is nice, and it has a hint of hoppy finish, also nice. Tastes a little bit on the watery side though. Other than that, a very drinkable all-purpose beer.

Bottle Czechvar at Beer Sellar in KY. Pours a clear amber with a moderate white head that diminished slowly. Heavy grass hoppy aroma. Medium body. Good complex hoppy flavor with medium bitter finish of average duration. Very interesting brew.

ABUSEDGOAT (2793) - California, USA - NOV 1, 2005
Best before 9/2005. Oh well. Clear golden body with a puffy head. Grassy hops in the aroma and flavor. Nice smooth beer, but not much here.
