Amber to bronze in color. Taller off-white head. Some lace. Aromas of light oak and vanilla, atop a bit of pale malt. Very light bourbon adrift on a mild amber brew. Caramel and beer nuts. Reminds me of mopping the bar after a busy weekend night. Beer, whiskey, ash, etc. 11/12

Bottle. Clockwork saved this gem for me as a going away present at my last tasting at his house. I promised I’d save the rating for a milestone rating, so here it is, 7K. Pours gold with a white head. Standard pale lager base, with mild vanilla, cardboard, and spent grains. Relatively clean on the finish, I suppose. All these fancy flavors mask the freedom that you can usually taste in normal Bud. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 2, 2015
Bottle. Thanks to Bobby. Shared with Blipp on his last tasting at my house. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of vanilla, bourbon, oaky malt and old malt - medium body vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUN 2, 2015
Bottle. Wtf. Golden pour with white head. Awful, vanilla maybe, wet malt cardboard aromas. Flavors are malty, oxidation, perhaps a touch of vanilla. Beerdedone (3408) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 17, 2014
Bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Aroma of grains and vanilla. Flavor was weak & thin with vanilla, grains and faint bourbon.

This Project Twelve Second Edition bottled brew from a bottle shop with a gold label marked batch 23185 Vanilla Bourbon cask poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent light orange brown colored body and a very good lacing. The mild aroma was vanilla. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow mild malty aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of mildly bitter mild nut vanilla hops and malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again. GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - OCT 31, 2014
12oz bottle -
Just about what you’d expect from Budweiser that apparently uses bourbon barrel staves and vanilla. What you wind up with is something that seems to be a blend of sweet tea and Desitin (diaper rash ointment for those who don’t have children). No wood character, no vanilla/vanillin character, nothing even remote fake in it. Lots of seemingly crystal malts with little residual sweetness and no soul. rollsrace (81) - - AUG 30, 2014
Light amber color. Reminds me of micolobe’s winter bourbon cask. But it’s lighter. sweet with a slight bourbon flavor. This is also lighter than Kentucky bourbon barrel beer. Tasted on 12/7/2013. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - AUG 29, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – Pours a nice golden amber color with a big and billowy white head of ~ 2 fingers. The head has a decent level of retention slowly fading over time to leave a light lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma of sweet caramel and vanilla with notes of a breadiness. Some lighter toffee like aromas as well as a light bourbon smell complement the other quite well producing a not too overpowering but balanced and sweeter aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with caramel and malt with hints of vanilla mixed within. The caramel flavor grow stronger more toward the middle and are joined by a light bourbon taste. From there the caramel starts to fade, but is replaced by more vanilla and toffee sweetness with a increase in the bourbon flavors and a very light oaky taste. In the end a very pleasant sweet vanilla and oaky bourbon taste are left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the beer is on the average to just below average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average to just above average side. It is actually quite a nice feel for the sweeter flavors of vanilla and make it quite drinkable and enjoyable.
Overall- Now this is what Budweiser should have gone with. It is quite flavorful, not overly sweet and has great flavor transitions and a good feel. Too bad this one is temporary as it is an affordable domestic that competes with may good crafts in terms of flavor and enjoyment.

Bottle share thanks to homer321, or his mom, can’t tell the difference. Seriously, her mustache is handlebar, like some old 80s haey biker. But her ass is nice, so that’s good to look at. The beer, taste like watered down garbage. Maybe vanilla, but probally gatbage.
