The beer is brewed by Daniel Westmoreland from the Williamsburg, Va. brewery and was developed in collaboration with brewmasters Mike Anderson in Jacksonville, Fla. and Dan Kahn in Cartersville, Ga. “We took staves from fresh bourbon barrels and we aged the beer on those staves and spiced it with a hint of vanilla,” said Westmoreland, who has been a Budweiser brewmaster for more than 30 years. “It’s an all-malt brew, and it has a perfect color that is similar to the color of bourbon itself. Batch No. 23185 has a nice vanilla aroma with a little oakiness on the end – it’s a great beer.”

Bottle share thanks to Homer321. fairly clear, light orange color. Prominent orange character with some light lager notes. More citrus, bubble gum, sweet, decent beer overall. Boost hard bros and ladies.

Buse if boost and vanilla. Light boozey notes but justly cold and meh. Taste us bland with just a gubt if flavor. How could thus be so bland?

Btl pours clear light amber copper color with a white head that vanished quickly leaving no lace. Smells of vanilla, bourbon and wood with a faint grassy and grain aroma. Sweet caramel malt taste with a hint of vanilla and a wisp of booze(maybe bourbon). Light body, slick watery texture, minimal carbonation and a dry finish. Very weak and thin body with no hop flavor and a weird after taste.

Bottle. Was actually somewhat excited about this, but ultimately was very underwhelmed. Pours a nice copper, but the head dissipated too quickly. Aroma of grain and corn was barely masked by the touch of vanilla. The flavor and body is where this fell apart. The thin grain taste clashed with an artificial sweetness, and the lack of any carbonation made this a fake sweet grainy mess.

Sloshes well in the mouth. Great flavor at first, but a poor aftertaste. Doesn’t give enough lasting vanilla.

You can get some bourbon out of this beer but as a whole it needs much more in the body. Just too weak to appreciate any real bourbon or wood flavors.

Deep golden colored pour. Big white head. Aroma is not much besides the typical Bud "aroma". Taste is something different. Vanilla and caramel. Followed up closely by the Bud "taste". Watery and not very good.

12 oz bottle shared by beerpig317. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, light bourbon, vanilla, grains, soft finish. Too sweet.

Im guessing this is the one I had, the batch number & description line up but my label was yellow. My favorite of the project twelve series but still too thin with an unpleasant aftertaste. Rich & strong vanilla sweetness upfront & then falls flat.

This is decent. A very light flavor of bourbon, slightly more of vanilla. Very smooth in the finish and easy to drink. Good.
