COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer was first brewed in St. Louis by brewmaster Jim Bicklein and was developed in collaboration with brewmaster Katie Rippel from Fort Collins, Colo. “The original Budweiser brewery is, of course, here in St. Louis, so we wanted to honor our brewing heritage with a beer that uses ingredients that German immigrants, like our founder Adolphus Busch, would have used when they came to the United States,” Bicklein said. “In this pilsner we use the same types of Hallertau and Tettnang hops commonly used in St. Louis during the late 1800s.”

Bottle from a Grocery Outlet. Pours dark gold with a large off-white head that tried to lace. Aroma is clean with touch of pale malt and some light noble hop. Med body. Flavor is bready/sweet. Very little hop. However, it is fairly tasty; drinks well.

Bottle as shown. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a medium frothy white head that lasts awhile leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is corn malt and honey. Medium mouthfeel with the flavor similar to the aroma and a bit soapy. Not much going on with this one.

Bottle. Poured clear amber color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate floral hop and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met by a soft drinkable beer from a soft style.

Bottle. Corn and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet barley malt flavor. Basically Budweiser with a bit more body.

DocLock (11048) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle from Wegman’s. Pours dark straw with minimal white head and a lot of carbonation. Nose is corny grainy pale malt, mild hops. Tastes of swmi tart pale malt, grainy, with hops and some off lactic flavor late. This one sucks, and if this is the best InBev can do after 63000+ tries, then it is time to hang it up.

12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a small diminishing white head. The aroma is sweet, corn and grainy malts, mildly doughy, with light herbal notes from the hops. The flavor is sweet corn and grainy, light fruity notes, lightly herbal, very mild bitterness at the finish with some grassy notes. Nothing terrible here, but there is not much to look forard to in the flavor department either.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a bit hazy, dark golden appearance with a foamy, khaki head. Fairly sweet, a bit fruity, Angel Food cake, bready aroma. A bit floral and just a touch bitter hoppy, but overall pretty well balanced despite a bit sweetness. Slightly fruity, light pineapple flavor. Sure, I could probably get WBW on this.
