Aroma is bready malts, citrus and an actual small hint of hops. The flavor is citrus, grainy malts and a mix of bitter and tangy in the finish. fidelis83 (2441) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - NOV 13, 2013
Clear dark gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy off white head. Aroma is pine citrus and floral hops all in a pretty equal mix, a hint of bread and mineral notes. Flavor is sweet bread up front, some citrus, toast, pine, grass, oily, spicy booziness and light metallic notes. Light to medium body, oily feel and medium, blanketing carbonation. Not bad, but not exactly something I am likely to buy again. Hops, more. And less of whatever makes it taste/smell like greasy metal. edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 10, 2013
12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grain and pine. Taste is malts with a hint of hop bitterness.

Pours a clear bright golden with an OK white head. Aroma is grassy. Taste is a smooth sweet pale malt, biscuity, and a distinctive grassy character. A little hop bite after the swallow.
Editorial Comment: AB has been putting out these "Batch" 12 packs a couple of years now. I’m convinced they do it to capitalize on the seasonal 12 packs the crafts put out. They know no one would buy a special container of Bud, Bud Light, Busch and Busch light, so each year they take the Budweiser formula and doctor it a bit and call it a "Batch" special pack. They think we’re gullible enough to buy it in the hopes they’re going to present us with a few quality craft beers and some of us will fall for it. Sadly, I must say I’ve fallen for it the last two years, but no more! scooterbub (1067) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - NOV 10, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Pours a golden color with a one inch white head that lasts. Taste is of malt, hops, caramel, pine and some citrus. Similar aroma. Has a wet body with a dry and bitter finish. Easy to drink and rather refreshing. This batch of bear is better than the last.

Clear, light gold pour with a minimal, white head. The aroma has light, earthy hop notes. It has a light, crisp body with lively carbonation. The taste is moderately bitter with a dry finish. jandd1983 (4330) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - OCT 28, 2013
It poured a hazy amber color with a small white head. The aroma was of sweet maltiness and notes of caramel. The taste was sweet and very malty combined with hops and a lightly roasted edge, leading to a dry and slightly roasted finish. BigBeer45 (1532) - Michigan, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Bottle from Champanes in Warren,
this beer had a very clear yellow-gold pour and presented a white two to three finger head that receded to a thin layer, the bubbles had a smidgen of yellow color to them,
this drink had a nose of malt and bread notes, hops were faint grass and light citrus, a little malt sweetness and a touch of powdered sugar,
it had flavors of light malt, bread and light hops, little sweetness, the finish had some bitterness,
the mouth feel was light and had a little creamy feel to it, it had soft to average carbonation,
a very light malt and hop beer, the hops were citrus and grass, personally, I do not prefer these kind of hops with a lager style beer, it was an ok drink. degbert (1773) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Bottle, advance tasting. Pours a medium gold with a high, soft, fine-grained white head. Nose is stone fruit, a touch of hops resin, and a perfumed florality. Very soft on the palate, with definite hops notes; there’s still a perfume or incense note to it that softens and blurs the hops. A touch undercarbonated. Interesting, but I wouldn’t call it ’bold’. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 15, 2013
GABF 2013. Pours a clear golden appearance with an off white head. A bit juicy, light pineapple, fairly fruity hoppy aroma. Pretty fucken smooth and easy drinking herbal tropical fruity hoppy, light malty flavor. Not too bad.
