Originally rated on 6/16/08. I was out at my towns annual summer celebration and my choices were the select, budweiser, bud light, and miller lite. So when faced with two evils always select the one you never tried. First of all i was gouged on the price but it was hotter than hell, oh well. it went down smooth, not much flavor, watery, standard A.B. mass produced beer. With that said it was better than the other choices if only for the alcohol content.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear light yellow color with a thin white head. The aroma is of sweet grain and corn. The taste is grain with some malt, a little watery. Overall, an average beer.

12 oz twist off bottle someone left behind at a party I had earlier in the summer. 12APR15 born on date. The pour is a clear pale golden with a quickly falling white head. The aroma is sweet malt, some honey, all pretty faint. As the beer warmed, some grain. The taste is generically sweet tasting malt, clean through to the finish. The palate is light to thin bodied with soft carbonation, which was softer and easier to drink than Bud Light or Bud. The aftertaste is bit dirty sweet after it warmed.

A darker version of Budweiser, but doesn’t taste much better. This just goes into the pile of other Budweiser products I didn’t care for.

A mass produced light lager with perhaps a dash more of some dark crystal malt to make it "different" than the others?

Crappy beer available at the golf course. Pretty much has no color flavor or aroma. Slightly grainy aftertaste. Really not much there.

This is a watered down version of bud, sort of reminds me of Michelob Ultra or Bud Light. I actually like this a bit better than regular bud because the taste isn’t as strong so somewhat less skunky. The aroma is still semi-skunky, and the appearance is very thin and weak. Looks like pee, a very pale golden-yellow. The flavor is very minimal, mostly water and grain. Not the worst cheap lawnmower beer around.

Some St. Louis Cardnials fans told me that this is the best beer in America. They also said St. Louis is the best city in America. Smells ok. Like cheap beer. It’s clear and bright yellow. I like that. Seems like it would take some technology to get beer to look so clean. Tastes weird, like bubbles from untreated sewage water. Very light and watery and very carbonated and a weird aftertaste that goes from sour to bitter. This is a terrible, terrible beer. Undrinkable.
