0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
I don’t really know what to say. Ok for a party I guess. Perhaps a bit better than I would have thought, but not something I will ever buy again.
Got this as a thank you for coaching hockey. Apparently I am a terrible coach if this is what I get. Pours clear gold with a small white wisp. Aroma is light grain. Taste is bland, even though it is 7% the alcohol is well hidden. Light grains and a hint of hop. Just not my thing. Frank (4236) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 7, 2016
This is a pretty reasonable strong lager. It’s clear w/ a nice looking head. This has a pretty good grassy/earthy hop character and a relatively clean fermentation character. I am not saying I am going to try this again but I’m glad to have tried it. crossovert (13947) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 30, 2016
236ml lightly-chilled can. From the can. Boozyaroma. Flavor is not horrible even at this temp. Some booze and caramel corn, actually not hard to drink. Dumb serving size. Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 5, 2015
Brilliant straw color with a golden hue. 2 finger head lasting a minute. Nice activity.
Bitter flavors of corn with lots of sugary sweetness. Faint watery taste.
Light body with excessive carbonation. Short and faint sweet finish with slight alcohol aftertaste.
Overall : Still extremely bland like a normal Bud, with some feel of freshness.

Aroma of sweet grains and alcohol. Pale yellow, crystal clear, foamy white head disappears in seconds. First taste is sweet malt, with notes of roasted grain. Finishes with an off bitterness and alcohol burn. Aftertaste is strong, synthetic, and abrasive. I didn’t get mine from Black IPA.

Pours clear pale blond with medium-high white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is of sugar, malt, citrus, alcohol. Taste is of sugar, malt, very slight bitterness. Palate: Medium body. High carbonation. Poor balance (sweet). Overall: Not too bad. Too sugary. Would not kwy if I don’t get to drink that again.
DietPepsican (1589) - @ $13.99, Iowa, USA - SEP 16, 2013
Little can chugged in two drinks. Bottle from box aroma. Flavor is sweet cotton candy and mississippi river water. Clean finish. cubs (10717) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 1, 2013

Little fucken can @ home, courtesy of BlackIPA. Thanks [email protected]
! Pours a clear yellow appearance with a good sized pearl white head and little retention. Aroma of corn, light grape drank, and a touch of booze. Tangy, pretty strong, big cotton candy/corn sweet flavor. Not horrible. Would like to see a bigger can so more boost. Maybe they should age this in mayonnaise barrels to give it a distinctively Canadian flavor. Honestly, this really is a malt liquor.
Pours a very pale, clear yellow with a white head that faded in to a ring very fast. Aromas of not much really... some corn, some sweetness. Taste is similarily bland... just clean, inoffensive lager. Finishes semi-sweet with a nice boost. I like this a lot.
