UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 12 oz can pours golden with a white head. When you drink a bud you know it, one of the better mass produced beers.

zeer flets waterachtig bier. Moeilijk om hier meer dan 75 karakters aan te besteden. Zelfs als pils vind ik dit een karakterloos, flets, nietszeggend bier. Grijze muis is misschien nog het best verwoord.

Decided to try this for the second time in 25 years. The first one was purchased in long neck six packs for $2 tax free while stationed in Germany in the Army. It tasted better back then because I was new to beer. The second time is today. Kroger had this beer in the aluminum 16 oz. bottles for $7.99 for a 12 pack so I though I should try again. Better than expected. Pours pale yellow with lots of visual carbonation. The ingredient that threw me off in the commercial description is Rice. That should be left out if they go to all the trouble to "beechwood" age they should at least use the four ingredients of real beer. i.e. water, malt, hops and yeast. Budvar is the real deal. Light body that is slightly dry. Finishes clean.

Bottled as part of blind shit beer taste test. Winner for me. Pours pale yellow white head. Aroma is tons of cotton candy. Apple. Flavor is the same. Lots of cotton candy

Drank from a can. Love the packaging and labeling. Taste is very light malt, touch of sweetness, touch of toast, almost no hop and no off flavors at all. Touch of banana actually. Definitely brewed to be a light drink. While there is nothing offensive about the beer I was left wanting more malt in the profile.

Budweiser pours a pale yellow color and sports a very short-lived white head. There is a very faint generic hop aroma without any nuances and characterless grainy malt in the nose, which, in addition, is faintly metallic. The front palate has hints of hay and is followed by a watery and hollow mid-palate with distant echoes of dull hops. There is no profile to the finish at all. This stuff is skillfully engineered to be as unremarkable as possible.

Ah, America the beer. It pours a piss like crystal yellow and the smell is of stale motor oil and fecund toilet water. The taste is a flavorless fizz of corn and rice; it is basic, elemental and entirely undistinguished. Still it is cheap and goes down easy. Good for a matinee wrestling show on a Sunday afternoon in a Polish bar in Massachusetts.

Basic lager. Nothing more nothing less. Good in a pinch but barely a beer. Tons more worth the time.

Clear, golden, very weak head. Aroma: extremly dms, papeey, malt. Medium body, medium to low sweetness, low bitterness. Taste: papery, malty, maybe some hops at finish.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2017 has to be the most bland, watery beer i’ve ever drank, i feel as though Budweiser is made for people who want to knock back bottles in an hour rather than enjoyed.
