12 ounce can. Pours a clear, dark golden orange with a decent beige head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is malt, caramel, and some dark fruit. Pretty good. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 9, 2016
Can. Pours a hazy (murky?) copper-brown with a creamy, lacy, ecru head; there might be a little bit of particulate in there. Nose is intense and pleasant; pecans, dates, stone fruit, toast, sage, even a little tomato -- and right before it hit my palate, a burst of mushroomy earthiness. On the tongue, it’s surprisingly rustic. There’s more nuttiness, almost no sweetness, a definite vegetal note, and a crisp, biscuity thing going on that reminds me of good thin pizza crust. Most beers in this style are cultured and polite; this one’s ready to go grab a long rifle and kick Santa Anna’s ass. Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAY 13, 2016
Enjoyed at BTBF 2016. Clear orange color with a white head. Clean aroma with a faint malty aroma. Light grains on the flavor with some caramel notes. baraciisch (3311) - California, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Hazy copper orange in color... Aroma of biscuity malts, toasted bread... Flavor is caramel malts, light spicy bready notes, toast, light citrus hops on finish... Actually decent

Draught at a bar in Houston. Light musty nose and body. Basic in taste. Ok overall. Andrew196 (1943) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2016
Hazy marmalade in color, unstable, somewhat coarse head. Very fresh malt aroma, breads. Medium bodied across the tongue, notes of toffee, slightly peppery, yet bitter towards the lingering finish. Nothing spectacular but super easy to drink and it seems to beg for another sip. dlihcsnatas (761) - Temple, Texas, USA - JAN 5, 2016
Copper with fast fading head and smells of caramel with some earthy like sent added. Taste is caramel malts and a musty bland hop. At first drink wasn’t really that into it but now that I have drank all of the first one it has grown on me and I am ready to take on the other five. hayduke (5574) - Eureka, California, USA - OCT 15, 2015
UPDATED: OCT 16, 2015 Sampled at GABF 2015. In the tasting glass was a amber copper with a white head. Nose of caramel malts. Medium body. Flavor is sweet malts and floral hops and a light bitter finish. Pretty good. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - AUG 12, 2015
12 oz. can from my Secret Santa. Thanks man! Pours a copper orange color with a small, off white head. Very light lacing. Malty aroma of caramel and dark breads. Herbal hops. Flavor is malty with medium hop presence. Medium bodied with lingering malt sweetness towards the finish. Pretty nice.
