didn’t think that this was an esb but makes sense, a good beer from such a young brewery. thought the alcohol was lower though Berbatov (30) - Texas, USA - JAN 23, 2013
I have always enjoyed cask beers so this was a treat. golden brown and great foam, even for a firkin. light yeast and some caramel. i like the wood varieties of this beer but this is nice stuff. looking for to trying the double buffalo that’s coming out soon! Big fluffy head on a clear, light . Light brown-orange beer. Mality APA aroma. Mellow chalky-malt, toasted. Biscuity. Mild US hops. Very drinkable. Dryish and starchy at times. Quick, lightly bitter finish. On tap, Hay Merchant, Houston. onceblind (10327) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Clear copper with a foamy white head. Lovely Amber biscuity nose with a grassy hop and a hint of butterscotch syrup. Nice smooth flavor of dry amber malt and cracker and a little earthy grassy bitterness. Great balance and earthy flavor. Could drink that at a picnic or a sports game. dnstone (3492) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Pours a golden color with an orange tinge and nice soft white head. Light floral aroma. Moderately sweet and balanced hop-floral bitterness. Quite soft and enjoyable. mar (5436) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Tap at brewery. Amber, cream head. Chewy malts, bitter, light hops, and caramel. Easy palate, chewy malts, caramel, bitter, dough, bread, nice finish. Andrew196 (1978) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2016
Hazy marmalade in color, unstable, somewhat coarse head. Very fresh malt aroma, breads. Medium bodied across the tongue, notes of toffee, slightly peppery, yet bitter towards the lingering finish. Nothing spectacular but super easy to drink and it seems to beg for another sip.
