Nice amber color with a thick and soft layer of white head. Quite sweet aroma with a spike of light floral-pine hop. Very smooth drinking; starts moderately sweet and becomes pleasantly bitter with a clean floral finish. A surprisingly good amber...thanks to the brewers who are reclaiming this formerly mundane style!
Deep amber with a frothy whitish head. Aroma of bready and caramel malts and floral and citrus hops. I really don’t get much of the oak. Semi-sweet malt and subtle, but nice, bitterness. Medium bodied. Not bad, though the oak is a very minor aspect. djd07 (14498) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 15, 2012
On tap at Hay Merchant. Pours a clear amber with a thick frothy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is bready malt and floral hop. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet raisin malt and nice light bitter finish. Easy to drink a good
