Bronze pour, smooth on the palate, does not taste as strong as it is. Good balance of hops.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 Draft at What's on Tap. Smells great, tastes less great. The aroma had buckets of citrus fruit but the flavor was mostly flat bitterness. Meh.

I had this whilst watching, "COCO" at a drafthouse. The beer has a golden hue. The carbonation is not overbearing. I sensed citrusy, grapefruit notes. It has a refreshing wash down. As far as IPA's are concerned you could do far more worse. But it's not a bad choice if you happen to choose it. I wish it had more of a kick or booze to set the flavors off.

[email protected]/19/17. Bright copper color with ivory foam. Citrus, tropical fruit, herbal aromas. Tangy citrus grapefruit, tropical, herbal flavors with a sweet maltage to balance--sharp tangy finish__good

Another surprisingly light double IPA. Normally in the past the ones I have had boasted a little more flavor, but it's possible because they were bottled it caused the flavors to settle rather than getting it from a keg. Simple and clean, but nothing spectacular ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy deep golden/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, bread dough, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/earthy/pine hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, bread dough, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy/pine hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Touch of lingering hop astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 9%. Overall this is an excellent DIPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy/pine hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, despite the aggressively bitter/drying finish. Quite unique as it only has noble hops, but the yeast adds nice fruity complexity. Big bright earthy/citrusy/spicy hops with balanced malts; but never overly sweet/heavy feeling. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

There are some things in life that people simply have to experience first hand. Riding a roller coaster. Catching a wild brook trout. Running a mile for time. Dating someone out of your league…this is what life is all about. If you’re a baseball fan, you have to see a game at Wrigley Field. If you eat food, you have to try the spicy fried chicken at Gus’s Fried Chicken in Memphis. You just have to. You haven’t lived until you’ve experienced that chicken. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Orange pour and a medium head. Full bodied caramel and toast flavor and a light orange aroma. Not the best but not the worst either. Pretty dry as the IBUs would indicate.
