3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
FROM NOTES: October 16, ’13. Poured from a 22 oz. bomber into a snifter.
A: Strong Belgian yeast, dried fruits, sticky malts, and spice in the nose.
A: Pours a deep gold with impressive lacing.
T: Follows the nose with stronger pine hop notes than the nose suggests. This fades into the biscuit malts and some citrus fruitiness.
P: Medium body and medium carbonation.
O: I’m VERY fortunate to try this beer and would love to do so again.
Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, spice, floral. Medium mouth, yeast, citrus, light bready malt, light booze finish, good. b3shine (9145) - Indiana, USA - NOV 14, 2014
Bomber to snifter (shared by LitoIPA). Looks good; a cloudy apricot with cream head. Smells of bitter hops with a bittersweet backbone and notes of caramel. Tastes like it smells, but fruitier, with a pleasant medium-bodied mouthfeel. Good beer, and tastes better than it smells. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 11, 2014
Bottle @ home. Hazed orange pour with a white head. Nose is apple, grass, and sweet brown sugar. Sweet orange and caramel, some pear, and an interesting spiciness. Taste is quite sweet. Lots of overripe fruit such as pear, pineapple, and apple. Some tart green apple, grassy bitterness, and alcohol. A bit of bubblegum and grape soda. airrick2003 (872) - Louisiana, USA - JAN 20, 2014

651 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, ivory head, over a hazy, amber (SRM 10) body.....nose is bread, biscuit, pine, light citrus peel.....taste is light floral tones, hinting sweetness, with pine, citrus peel, finishing dry with a light bitterness....mouth feel light of medium, slight alcohol warmth, carbonation high with a light acid finish. Aromas and flavors are pleasant, but the beer falls in between the styles of Belgian Golden Strong and Tripel. BJCP 7/3/13/4/6 Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some strong Belgian yeast notes as well as some oranges and spruce. The flavor is similar. The pine and spruce notes are strong up front but are joined by some oranges and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice beer. Errl (2577) - Plano, Texas, USA - NOV 29, 2013
