COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Since its inception in 1985, America’s Original Pumpkin Ale has become a Fall tradition. Much of Buffalo Bill’s acclaim originates from this beloved autumn brew. Made with real pumpkin and spices, it has a golden amber color, and the sweet aroma of warm pumpkin pie, 6% ABV.

12oz bottle @ Knife and Fork (Atlantic City) for 4 year anniversary. I had everything else on the menu before so don't judge!.... Yea that means you Dave! Pours a clear burnt orange color with very minimal fizzy off white head. Aroma of toasted malts and lots of pumpkin pie spices. Taste is slightly yeasty, sour citrus, grain, and pumpkin pie spice.

Got a 6-pack of this one at Walgreens in Vegas. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a fizzy warm cap that disappears quickly and leaves not much lace. Smells like pumpkin purée at first, but then the spices come out (cinnamon, nutmeg). Same for taste with just a little sourness, and less spices. Seems like a decent brew for those who prefer more pumpkin than spices.

8/26/2010. From bottle. Pumpkin, malt and spice aromas. A little sticky sweet. Sweet flavors from the pumpkin, but somewhat muted. Meh...

My favorite pumpkin ale. I was surprised to see such a low rating from everyone, since I really enjoyed this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A new pumpkin I’ve never seen. Jazzy orange brown with no real head or lace. Aroma is vegetal with hints of spice, taste follows, more pumpkin than pie. Not bad, but nothing special.

Poured a clear orange color with a pretty much nonexistent head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and little bit of sweetness. Taste is faint pumpkin and spice. If the taste was more intense this would be outstanding. Texture is watery which subtracts from overall appeal.

Not bad! No head, but a nice seasonal cloudy orange hue. Slightly hoppy, an understated pumpkin flavor, but good on an October evening.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2015 Clear ruby with almost no head. Fairly rich in pumpkin aroma with subtle cacao. Taste is quite spicy with cacao, cinnamon and pepper in addition to the pumpkin. Texture is still a little watery. I rated this fairly low last year but the beer I have in hand is quite good. Did the beer change or did I change? The oatmeal stout version of this beer is fantastic.
