COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Since its inception in 1985, America’s Original Pumpkin Ale has become a Fall tradition. Much of Buffalo Bill’s acclaim originates from this beloved autumn brew. Made with real pumpkin and spices, it has a golden amber color, and the sweet aroma of warm pumpkin pie, 6% ABV.

The beer pours an amber, golden color with almost no head and no lacing at all. The beer smells like a mild pumpkin scent that lingers. The taste is overly carbonated carbonated and bubbly with a mild pumpkin back end. The mouthfeel is over carbonated and somewhat watery. Overall, this was one of the worst pumpkin ales I’ve ever a had. If you don’t like pumpkin and want carbonation...then this is your beer.

12oz bottle pours a hazy pale brown color. Pumpkin pie flavors with cloves a dominant spice flavor. A little harshness.

Poured a pumpkin-ish cloudy amber with no real head to speak of. The initial whiff from the bottle was very pumpkin smelling, but even after pouring all in a tulip that smell is dilluted. There is hints of pumpkin, with spice overpowrering it, but overall really bland and watery. Worst pumpkin beer I have had.

Bottle - unable to pour out of bottle to see, sweet malty aroma and flavor with a fair amount of pumpkin/clove spice, not overpowering but definitely there - not bad overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from wegmans. Listed at six percent. Pours hazy copper with a small white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma has pumpkin puree and light spices. The taste has light pumpkin but is very bland.

Appearance- Pours I hate to say it a cloudy pumpkin orange with a quickly disappearing white head. Light lacing that was there one second and gone the next. Aroma- Spices (cinnamon and nutmeg) with a fruity smell T/P – fairly light the smell is defiantly stronger than the taste. Very strong after taste to speak of, does kinda taste like you are drinking a pumpkin pie. Does have more of a spiced cider feel than a beer. Overall- Good beer for Halloween due to the novelty factor and that is not a terrible beer. Not a great beer for a hard core beer drinker or one that does not like fruit / vegetable beers, but all in all a good beer to drink every so often

Bottle from ABC on Apalachee. Sweet pumpkin spice and amber ale aroma. Tastes are sweet, watery, pumpkin, spice, bread. Not my fav.

Not much flavor for a pumpkin ale. A bit flat compared to other brands. No smell of pumpkin either. Drinkable but not as good as other brands on the market with pumpkin. I would not try it again.
