This poured a darker yellow color with a white head. Aroma was green vegetal pumpkin and very light spices. Flavor was much the same, very watery and not very flavorful of anything. dfearnley (2198) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 12, 2012
Pumpkin, nutmeg, cloves. Taste is a sour peppery pumpkin. Light body and silky texture. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - NOV 7, 2012

Appearance: The body is a very lightly hazed dark orange, a decent amount of carbonation is in the body with only a small off-white head.
Aroma: The aroma is pretty strong with banana esters, did they use Belgian yeast? It’s very odd sensation, light spices, but mostly an overwhelming aroma that smells like banana and an orange citrus.
Taste: As well with the aroma I taste a bit orange citrus and light banana on the finish, no spices or pumpkin. This really missed the mark.
Palate: Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.
Overall: I don’t know what went wrong, but this doesn’t taste like a pumpkin beer at all, maybe it’s butterscotch I taste and smell, I’m not entirely sure, but something is way off. Pass on this one.
Bottle. Deep hazy layered orange with light carbonation, no head. Nose is apple cidery (approaching vinegar) , pumpkin, spices, lemon. Flavor is more tart, and earthy, cider-like in the finish. Fairly balanced and thankfully different than most pumpkin beers. Cheers to being the first. ben4321 (6535) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 4, 2012

Aroma: The aroma has pumpkin spice, nutmeg, and some caramel malts
Appearance: The pour is a dark orange-caramel color with a small, wispy white head
Flavor: The taste has less pumpkin spice/nutmeg then the nose, and more of a vegetal type flavor
Palate: The body is light-medium, the carbonation is lively, and it finishes a touch off and a little dry
I’m pretty surprised I’ve never rated this one before, as I know I have definitely had it in years past. Anyway, as for the beer, it isn’t a bad one, but the flavor doesn’t live up to the promise of the nose. This is not really close to a top-of-style Pumpkin beer.
Cinnamon smell. Sour nutter after tast. Sort of watered down. But cinnamon saves it trujahwarrior (510) - Monroe, Washington, USA - OCT 31, 2012
Pours amber/orange with fizzy white head that fades quickly. Smells of pale malt, light spice and pumpkin. Tastes of everything mentioned in the smell, with light caramel. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy with good carbanation. Overall this is a mediocre tasting pumpkin beer lacking in a lot of ways. rumproasts (5422) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 25, 2012
Bottle. Amber orange with small head. Light pumpkin and quite smooth. Not the most flavorful beer ever, but decent for what it is. Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Bottle. Amber pour with off white head that disappeared quickly. Slight cinnamon and pumpkin. Lighter body with sweet, slight spicy finish. Surprisingly refereshing with nice finish. Not exciting but not bad. mansquito (6488) - Nueva York, New York, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Bodega: Pours clear amber with quickly dissipating head. Aroma is generic amber ale with light pumpkin spice.Taste is somewhat sweet. Body is very light. Taste is also kind of thin. Beer is watery. This be meh. Easy to drink, but that is where the positive traits end.
