Aroma of pie spices, especially clove. Slightly hazy amber color with a quickly disappearing head. Starts with clove, hit of carbonation, finishes with clovey veggie flavor. Clove persists. Interesting. At least it is not squash. gunnfryd (14899) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 11, 2013
Bottle. Pale amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, hop, pumkin. Flavour is caramel, malt, hop, pumkin, spices. Carbonated. Ordinary beer. Ratman197 (14852) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 18, 2007
Bottle poured a clear orange with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of pumpkin and pie spices. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of pumpkin, clove and allspice with a crisp lingering spice finish. Tmoney99 (14497) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 9, 2006
Bottle. Poured orange color with a medium fizzy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate nutmeg pumpkin aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet short finish. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 9, 2002
Light orange body with a light tan head. Aroma is pumpkin pie. Flavor is fairly mild hops, topped by pumpkin, nutmeg and allspice. Nice, but nothing you’d ever have a hankering for.

12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. The first pumpkin spice beer of the year! The malicious and hateful summer will soon be mercifully past, leading to the bliss that is winter. Hazy orange-brown pour with no head. Fruity apple-cider like aroma with heavy nutmeg notes as well as hints of some other spices. A trt and fruity taste mild showing pumpkin and then the spices. All of the spices are noticeable in the taste. I like the spice profile, but the beer seems to be tart in a way that it shouldn’t. BeerandBlues2 (13326) - Escondido, California, USA - OCT 28, 2010
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange with a small, rocky white head, low retention with no lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, straw, cereal, cookie), light hops (earthy), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of dirty vegetables, cinnamon, and rancid nutmeg. Flavor is heavy malt (grain, straw, cereal, cookie), light hops (earthy), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of dirty vegetables, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Light body, low warmth and creaminess, medium carbonation and a slick finish. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 10, 2003
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2004 (Bottle) This ale poured a deep cooper color with very little head. Had a strong pumkin and cinnamon aroma. Tasted like pumpkin pie with a bitter bite at the end. Dogbrick (13027) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 21, 2002
The strong aroma of pumpkin and ginger was really promising on this one, but the flavor really didn’t deliver. With a little more pumkpin flavor and a little less carbonation I think it would have been a "must-buy" every year around Halloween. As it stands though it was like a lot of fruit beers I have tried where the bark was better than the bite. I am going to try to hunt down a Pumpkin Stout! crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Thin, slightly sour, this is just a trainwreck of a beer. Pumpkin pie spice is blunt.
