Pours orange with a short gravelly white head. Aroma is sweet and a bit citrusy. Flavor is of pumpkins and not much else, a little hops come through though. Body is a bit thin and the finish is mild. jeremugohio (94) - springboro, Ohio, USA - SEP 15, 2013
Out of bottle flat, sweet, just a very mediocre pumpkin ale. Last years I thought was better. Just not a lot a going on here. Slinger (91) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 16, 2006
12 oz- Light orange with an off-white bubbly head. Spicey aroma but flavor of a smoked beer. Just OK TJackHole (83) - Alabama, USA - JUN 18, 2004
very orange befitting of a pumpkin ale, entirely to spicy with overpowering nutmeg taste. Imbockinsxtx (82) - Big Bend (Benavides, TX), Texas, USA - JUN 22, 2006
This beer pours an amber-orange colour with no head. Tons of Malt, and there is a hair in it probably mine, and a hint of Pumkin. Nice lite mouthfeel with spices evident in the Flavour. There is definitely a Pumpin after flavor in the finish. A very nice concoction from the boys at BBB. Kudos.

Pours hazy dark copper with small head. Good aromas of pumpkin, spice, and bread. Tastes of pumpkin, some spice, and dank bread. Good taste, but moldy bready palate not enjoyable.

poors golden honey hazy thin head dissipates quickly.. smell nutmeg and cinamin. Taste alchohal nutmeg and sugar with some spice.... tastes like pumkin pie.... one is enough Grizzle (80) - Lawrence, Kansas, USA - OCT 29, 2008
Bottle->Pint glass. Pour is fantastic. Cloudy, silty orange-amber, with a 3/4' dirty, egg-shell-colored head which dissipates too quickly. Zero lacing. Smells of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, banana and melon. Tastes of cinnamon, with a follow-up of the banana. Hops are introduced immediately after the cinnamon subsides. Nice overall maltiness with hints of cereal and fruit to balance. Clove finish. Crisp palate. Bought with the season in mind; first pumpkin beer ever. Opinion/rating may change as I experience others. DonKi11uminati (80) - , Indiana, USA - DEC 18, 2009
I havn’t tasted many pumpkin beers that I’ve liked a whole lot, but this one is actually decent. The aroma and flavor are pleasant with a nice mixture of spices and nutmeg. This pumpkin ale is more understated than others, thankfully. It’s quite drinkable but only the balance really stands out. nmoskop (79) - Arizona, USA - OCT 25, 2004
Interesting brew, but it didn’t quite measure up to my expectations. Very dry feel in the mouth with an overload of spice. I ws generous on my rating, but this will be my one and only try.
