COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Since its inception in 1985, America’s Original Pumpkin Ale has become a Fall tradition. Much of Buffalo Bill’s acclaim originates from this beloved autumn brew. Made with real pumpkin and spices, it has a golden amber color, and the sweet aroma of warm pumpkin pie, 6% ABV.

great pumpkin and spice aromas upon opening. pours orange brown. taste just like pumpkin pie but with more spice. somewhat watered down but very smooth drinkability.

My favorite pumpkin ale. I was surprised to see such a low rating from everyone, since I really enjoyed this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Awesome pumpkin beer. I'd buy this again. Pair it with some pumpkin ice cream. Pumpkin beer float. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is a must buy every October. Atleast a case for trick or treating and parties. I hunt for it in stores. It is consistently good. The aroma is like an adult version pumpkin pie, perfect for the first cool weather. I love the slight bitterness along with the strong cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Great substitute for a handful of candy!

Hazey caramel color, spice and cloves flavor, not lot of pumpkin pie flavor. Good with chips :)

Basically agreed with the last reviewer; very nice nose, full of sweet spices, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, but rather lacking on flavor. Practically no hops, and no aftertaste. I remember thinking the taste to be rather transparent; excellent aroma, but none of that aroma transfers into the flavor of the beer. It's rather light and easy drinking, but the pumpking flavor doesn't come through as well as does say the Wild Onion Pumpkin Ale (still my fave pumpkin ale).

so it might not be very hoppy or even carbonated but the spicy aroma and the overall flavor work for what its trying to do. i just needed some whipped cream to top it off, would buy again.

as soon as i poured it, this reminded me of the ginger cookies in the black and orange box that come out in the fall. the smell is identical. definately an interesting brew. lots of spice and cinnamon to go along with the pumpkin. i enjoyed it.

Good pumpkin taste, but the beer is too thin for a fall/winter seasonal. I would prefer the pumpkin taste in a heaver beer.
