Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of blueberries, malt and pepper. Light sweetness, soft carbonation, medium body, much better than expected. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - SEP 3, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sliding and sticking at various times throughout the consuming of this beer.
The smell had a roasty sort of light chocolate quality with the blueberry in the background.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. It seemed appropriately carbonated for the style and for me. There’s no aftertaste whatsoever, but it does have a dry finish.
Overall, good beer I could see myself having almost every Spring. slang14 (23) - - MAY 19, 2014

Very nice aroma, not a bad flavor, creamy start with a light finish, no blueberry aftertaste. Ferris (15013) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 24, 2014
Bottle - Blueberry and some roast. Clear dark brown maroon thin brown head. Roast malts and light blueberries. Less sweet than the nose.

This was definitely more of a fruit beer than a stout. Blueberry basically punches you in the face when you smell it. Unfortunately, it covers everything else. It is a good looking beer with a dark chocolate color and tan foamy head. The palate was average weight and creamy like an oatmeal stout. Flavor was again blueberry with a small amount of dark malts and oatmeal. Interesting blend but too one-sided. bth122 (1547) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 27, 2014
Bottle. Pours a black color with a minimal head. Aroma of cocoa, blueberry, smarties candy. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Light sweetness. Slight tartness. Not bad. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - JAN 26, 2014

Appearance: The beer pours a chestnut, in the glass it appears a deep and murky garnet only through lots of light. The head is short and dense with a light tan hue. Nice looking beer.
Aroma: The aroma isn’t very complex, it’s strong of blueberries, not similar to blueberries, a lot of blueberries. They come off a little astringent. There’s a mild chocolate aroma, but blueberry dominates.
Taste: Mild chocolate and blueberry throughout, great blueberry flavor with a very slight roast towards the end. Not bad, but not enough base.
Palate: Full-bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is close to being pretty excellent. The beer needs a bigger base instead of having a huge blueberry flavor. Find that balance and this will be great. Great price and worth trying.
Bottle. Rather light colored for an oatmeal stout; looks like cola to me. Head is tan and lacy. Smells for all the world like Grape Ne-Hi. Flavor is instant coffee and licorice; the blueberry kicks in more on the finish than on the taste itself. Mouthfeel is good, but it’s overly carbonated. Average. pours a dark brown with a medium sized tan head. the aroma is blueberries and oatmeal surprisingly. the taste is also of oatmeal but the blueberry taste sorta ruins it for me. too artificial.
