very good example of this style. Most of the local brewpubs are hop-mad, and this was o good find. Pours a dark black, little carbonation. The aroma is roasted coffe and barley malts. The taste is smooth, balanced, and not at all overpowering. This is the kind of stout that you can sit and sip 4 or 5 pints of very easily. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2004
Tap. Black opaque ale with a subdued hops aroma. Malts and hops balance is good, and some moka chocolate notes in finish. Medium bodied.(June 2004). jazz88 (2680) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAR 5, 2003
Tap. Brown color with you can see through. You can tell this is trouble just by looking at it. Smooth but seems watered down for a stout. Some chocolate in the aftertaste but you have to look for it. Otherwise you get the malts in the flavor. mwsf (360) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 9, 2003
Opaque black color. Creamy tan head. Some roast. Very silky. Wonderful mouthfeel. Slightly hoppy. Very nice. The best beer I've had from Buffalo Bill's by far!
