Nice, rich stout. It pours dark brown with ruby tinged edges. The aroma is roasted grains, coffee, and toffee. The flavor is the same. I really appreciate the mouthfeel on this one. Velvety smooth and rich without being overpowering. I agree that it’s a little too sweet, but overall, it’s an enjoyable beer. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - SEP 19, 2010
Black with a fizzy white head. Chocolate bread aroma. Bright palate. Chocolate toasted grain and coffee taste.
