A little toooo crisp, but not a bad beer. I am glad I only bought a single, however. DYCSoccer17 (3697) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 19, 2004
Aroma is enormously orange--orangier than an orange soda. Nothing else is detectable. Transparent golden color with a small white head. Lots of tart/sour citrus orange in the start. Rather cloying. Finish has some redeeming roasty maltiness with a trace of hops. Too fruity. Basically a Smirnoff Mandarin twist that’s yellow instead of clear. ChazyRPh (583) - Chazy, New York, USA - JUL 19, 2004
pours a clear honey color, very little head. Very strong orange aroma, totally dominates initial senses. I do detect a hint of hops in the nose too. Orange is the dominant taste also, no balance, it is sweet and very much orange. Maybe a hint of bitterness, or is that the orange pith I taste? jonwell (104) - Huntington Beach, California, USA - JUL 19, 2004
smells like orange air freshener, or like Orange Crush. Which is how it tastes too. Not much in the way of beer in this. It’s clear! That’s a plus, I guess. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 15, 2004
Poured a light yellow color with an averaged sized head. Faint, almost rotten, orange peel smell. Very light orange taste with a fizzy, overly carbonated body. After tasting this one I could only ask why. Why did they make this and why did I buy it?

Dreamsicle smell. Honey color with quick fading head. Bubbly on the tongue with strong orange taste. A good summer drink. Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - JUL 12, 2004
Clear straw/amber body, thin off-white head. Aroma is initially of orange soda (e.g., Orange Slice) but tangy barley and metallic notes are also present. Flavor of orange, rather sweet, hiding a pretty boring malt base. Thin-bodied. Unusual- I don’t think I’d drink more than one or two of these at a time. Bottle. Nose smells like orange sherbet. The head disappears almost instantly and the body is orange/gold colored. The taste is like tang, hops, beer, and coins all rolled into one. Honestly, I like the mixture of orange sherbet and beer, but the metallic taste shows up on the finish and ruins it. You could duplicate this beer by drinking Coors, eating orange sherbet, and suckling on coins all at the same time. If they could get rid of the metallic tastes, this stuff would be pretty damn good. grant (842) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUL 7, 2004
Pretty lifeless orange-bbrown. Nearly non-existent orange-tinged head. Creamsicle/buckwheat pancake aroma-some fake orange. Flavor is pretty "beery" up front until the mandarin orange kicks in with the gust of the inhale. Acidic, tangy finish. An interesting and refreshing drink, if not much of a beer. biznizness (1128) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 24, 2004
Bllllaahh. Very orangy but not integrated with the beer well. Tastes almost like orange flavored water. Very watery mouthfeel. I really don’t care for this beer.
