Deep and dark flavor of malt, raisin, caramel, cherry. Light hops with mild bitterness through the finish that thins out quite a bit. glennmastrange (2854) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2015
Bottle. Heavy malt aromas of roasted, nutty and caramel, moderate herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with toffee, brown sugar, paper, and faint sherry and spices in the background. Head is huge, rocky, off-white with excellent but slippery lacing and is fully lasting. Color is sparkling clear copper. Flavor starts moderately sweet and finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, creamy with a soft to lively carbonation. A pretty good English Strong Ale from Buffalo Bill’s, a first for me. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 20, 2015
12oz bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with an averaged sized head. Citrus, with some floral and grassiness. Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2014
Amber bodied with a slender white head, this has an aroma of dried stone fruit with a touch of old wood and mayhaps a hit of zest. Very thick mouthfeel here. The taste is much like the nose. There is the addition of some earthy, piney, and zesty bitterness, not strong, but loud enough so that I take notice. Not having access to this site as I write, I’m not sure what this is (i.e., how it will be categorized), but I find myself liking it more as I drink on. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Bottle. Cloudy copper beer, rich bready taste, medium body, thick overall. A little sweet aroma moderate finish. Overall okay.

12 oz bottle. Pours just fine with a proper head. A rather weak body delivers little taste. The alcohol at a supposedly higher level failed to stimulate. gam (3909) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 12, 2013

12oz bottle. Pours a murky copper color with a dense cream head than lingers. Caramel, toffee, prunes, raisins, and figs form the aroma. Flavor is lacking behind the bigger aroma. Has a bit of cherry and dates, but it’s predominantly dry, with a touch of tea-like flavor at the dry, bitter finish. Body is moderate, with moderate to low carbonation.

Bottle. Clear gold with a large white head that left quickly. Nose is floral hops light pine, and caramel. Flavor was lightly bitter with white pepperiness. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - AUG 3, 2013
Poured up on tap at Buffalo Bill’s with clear copper body and gold edges supporting up an off white head and leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a little spicy with hops as well as some floral hops too. The taste is similar with a mix of spicy to floral hoppiness followed by a modest amount of vague hop bitterness.
