where to begin with this one? copper amber pours with minimal off white head. Nose of cardboard. Taste is chalky with hints of citrus and a bit off malt. body is watery and lacking carbonation. yuck.

On tap at the Brewpub. Thin light amber pour with little head. Light caramel malt aroma. Light flavor of caramel malt, toffee.

Nice crisp amber coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light malt, hop pellets, caramel and a bunch of cardboard/must. Meidum-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a mild maltiness, some light caramel and other sugars and a minor bit of lemon and herbal notes. Aftertaste is quite mild as well with only a bit of metallic bitterness competing with musty/basementy/malty notes. Overall, a not great beer, but that isn’t surprising. Drinkable, but not worth searching out. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub in Williamsville, New York in 2005.

Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Light sweet caramel malty aroma. The flavor has nutty sweet malts, toffee, and molasses. Just a hint of floral hops. Not bad.

On tap at some festival at St. Mark’s in North Buffalo. Merely ok, although considerably more drinkable than their pale ale, which was awful. Lots of malt (very little hops), although sadly a thin mouthfeel. Could have used a little more bite.

On tap at the brewpub. Odd beer. No aroma. A bit of rouge in the yellow body, with a Caesar head, followed by a bit of lace. Carbonation is above average, and mouthfeel is below average. Mouldy dishtowel taste, and malt and bitterness, but it is all odd tasting.

on tap at teh pub. No head, deep copper color, sour cardboard aroma, thin mouth feel with too many off flavors to count. not a good beer at all but better tahn the pale ale.

Very pretty reddish gold. Nose has butter, light malt and cider. Not too promising. Flavor has quite a bit of DMS and is overly bitter. Reminds me of a homebrew I boiled too long - do they use extract here? Sweet malt/old vegetable finish.
