Clear, definitely tastes strongly like chili, a little spicy as well. I wonder if they did this right, or cheated and just added hot sauce, or some other short cut adjunt.
On tap at Buffalo Brewing on Jan 11th. Pours a clear yellow with white head. Pepper, spicy, chili flavors. I’m not a fan of chili beers and not a huge fan of this one. cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Tap @ Buffalo St. Louis. Pours a light clear yellow appearance with a white head. Slight chili, a touch roasted pepper, lightly grainy aroma. Fairly spicy, green pepper, pale malty flavor with a fair amount of burn on the finish. jandd1983 (4606) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Tasted at the 2012 Westport Brewfest. It poured a hazy golden/yellow color with a small head. The aroma was different, not much spice in the nose, but a touch of heat in the finish. It catches up to you. It took a few seconds and the heat and spice hit you in the throat. The taste was like a light beer, then the heat sets in, a very good kind of heat. The chilis are not overpowering, but a decent beer to try. seymour (2120) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Tasted at the 2012 St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival from tap into sampler glass. Poured a light, mostly-clear golden color with average white foam. Overall aromas and flavors are plain-ol’ neutral pale ale plus some spicy chili pepper capsaicin. Interesting if you’re in the mood. One of the better balanced, least offensive hot pepper beers I’ve tasted, but that’s not saying much.

Sample at beer fest. Poured a clear yellow color with almost no head at all. Aroma was all pepper, malts and corn. Flavor was peppers and burn. Burnt in the finish. Was like drinking hot sause. Burn throughout the entire beer. Good try. Better pepper beers out there. SrSilliGose (3332) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - NOV 17, 2010
not big on the pale lager chili beers. doesn’t do it for me. taste like budweiser with a chili pepper dropped in. not my cup of tea. phaleslu (10673) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 17, 2010
Draft at the brewpub, 14 oz. glass, served a little too cold. Pours a cloudy pale golden color with a small white head. The aroma is pretty weak, with some notes of pale malts, straw, minerals, and just a hint of chili. Flavor of pale malts, honey, sugar, fruits, grains, and some chili right at the end. Most of the chili is in the afterburn, though. Light-medium bodied, with crisp carbonation and a mouthfeel that starts light and malty and finishes spicy. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 2, 2009

Appearance: clear gold, scant head
Aroma: light sweet malt aroma with a hint of pepper
Flavor: flavor starts light and sweet and then a big chili pepper character comes rushing in to take you by surprise, long hot pepper finish

light golen, no head. Light peppery aroma. Strarts malty smooth and then burns the throat minutes later. It’s burnin’ my throat.
