This blows every other cherry wheat I have had out of the water. First of all, it is very cherry. No subtlety here. Smells of sweet cherries and immediately punches with the taste of cherry. The cherry taste dissolves immediately to a delicious malty taste....making you want another sip to regain the cherry. VERY drinkable. Definitely a more complex fruit beer. 2010 Autumn Festival of Ales. My 1st time past this booth they did not have this beer there. Good thing I checked back later. It was a good change of pace beer. (Not that I want to drink this often) Good cherry aroma. The flavor of cherry was light and refreshing. blipp (9929) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 20, 2009
Draft at Buffalo Brew Pub. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet fruity and malty with a hint of cherry. The flavor has a strange cherry like sweetness, almost like black cherry ice cream, on top of a sweet malty base. Decent.
