Cask at the King’s Head, Norwich, "Post-Xmas Crawl Part 2", 28th Dec 08. Amber, lacy head. Dry & fruity - gooseberry is a key flavour. Slight smokiness too, definitely an oakey, woody note. Aroma is like the flavour. Nice stuff. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2007
A Mes rate:
Gravicask at The Junction Tavern. Pale amber colour with a slight head. Quite flowery, not much of the American hops to detect. Slight sour notes. Malty then bitter finish. flapjack (14) - ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2006
Cask. STandard bitter - nothing offensive, nothing special, but slips down easily. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2006

Golden beer with a dry, hopped and slightly fruity flavour with a light aroma. Overall a gentle caramel beer.
Cask, Loughborough Fest 06. Amber with a small head. Aromas are very malty with caramel and citrus bitterness following. Flavours are sweet caramel malts with spicy hops. Grapefruit bitternes towards towards the finish. Simple, decent beer.

A deep amber beer with a weak white head. A strong floral hop nose with equally distinct malty caramel. The taste is again of floral hops but with a strong malty element. The aftertaste is bitter, but again with a hint of malt. (Draught - The Victoria, Holkham, Norfolk). chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2005
Amber colour. Restrained floral hop aroma. Dry, fresh and crisp with gentle bitterness. Some underlying soft malt and appley fruit. Easy-going and mellow, with some rustic edges. Not a blockbuster, but a decent drop. The blend of US and English hops works well. Cask, Oakdale Arms Beer Festival, February 2005.
SilkTork (5737) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2005
Oakdale Arms Beer Festival. Soft, delicately sweet malt with a sprinkling of dusty, earthy English hops. kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - FEB 26, 2005
Copper in collour. Mild fruity aroma. Sweet caramel taste with a medium body. Nothing amazing but not a bad beer. DeepBlack (386) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2005
Cask Conditioned & on hand pump at the Derby CAMRA beer festival on 10/02/05.
Clear mid browm colour.
A dry hoppy fresh beer. Slightly barnyard. But very nice. Very lingering in the aftertaste...
