dark brown with beige head, it has a nutty aroma of roasted barley. medium bodied, the flavor is chocolatey with a hint of caramel. easy drinking. Cybercat (5833) - Georgia, USA - JUL 4, 2008
Pours a deep, almost opaque, almost sable brown with a fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma is rich and smoky with strong coffee overtone and spicy hints. Malty flavor is well-rounded with a considerable burnt coffee component and hints of chocolate and hops. The sweetness nicely balances the hoppy bitterness. Texture is smooth, rich and pleasing. Stine (1780) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 30, 2008
Tap at the Falling Rock. Pour of creamy, dark toffee appearance, layering a thick, frothy head up the sides of the glass. Aroma of cream soda, vanilla cavendish, salted taffy, fig, and raspberry. Nutty, sweet and soft. Flavor is a sweet mash of old bananas, cinnamon, caramel, red licorice, vanilla, and toffee. Palate is cool and very soft with an earthy, woody texture and lots of residual sugar; finishes long and dry with raspberry bitterness and some gummy iced tea. Underattenuated throughout, but pretty smooth and easygoing enough to be pleasant. waolsen (1376) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - MAR 19, 2008
