On tap. Pours gold, quite clear, with a small white head. Smells doughy, with hints at crackers, wood, and corn. It’s a pretty light beer, medium dry. I could use more hops on this one, but pilseners aren’t really my favorite style anyway. Hints at apples, wood chips, crackers, cereal are in the flavor. It’s a crisp and reasonable pils.
On tap @ Bull and Bush poured a clear pale yellow with a small diminishing white head. Aromas of Straw, light fruittiness and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, light fruittiness and light spice with a crisp lightly bitter finish. bitter (1136) - Henderson, Nevada, USA - APR 28, 2008
I think the Hops are happy cuz they did’nt get boiled in this beer.
The love of my life, sitting across the table from me always asks...which beer should I try. I want something light. well, here it is probably the lightest of the bunch. Crisp yellow look clear and small white head. not much to smell of here maybe a wet smell. watery and thin crisp and easy to drink slight bitter back end. tap at the brewpub. good clear yellow color. smells of wet pavement and butter, and this is actually a good thing(not the butter part though). herbal hop flavor greet me at first, with a little more buttery diacetyl fun. a bit of sulphur, but overall not that bad, i’ve had many pilsners that were worse.
