Hazy golden with not much of a head to speak of. The aroma bursts with farm fresh leafy whole cone hops with a dash of pine and lemon zest. Bitter flavor with some pine and earthy leafy flavors, and a subdued but present malt body. Lots of piney/leafy resins. Perhaps a bit too much on the resiny bitterness. On tap at the brewpub. Pour is slightly hazy honey with a frothy white head and great lacing. Fruity, orange peel, slightly grassy, weedy, grapefruit, and biscuity aroma. Taste is bitter fruit peel, oranges, biscuit, grass, weed, bread, and caramel with a big bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Tasty IPA. arrogantb (1402) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 7, 2010
Wow! I gave this bad marks in the past but the one I had last night was awesome. Light orange-yellow in color with a white head that dropped quick. The smell reminded me of candy. The taste was sweet with fruity notes and a real bitterness. This was a pretty excellent beer.

This beer pours a cloudy amber color that is a bit darker than many IPAs. The beer smells hoppy and maybe a little sweet. This coresponds with the flavor which has a fairly sharp hop character to it, but also has hints of sweetness and citrus fruit. A pretty good beer if you are looking for an IPA that has a strong hop taste but also a bit of a non-traditional flavor.

Cask @ Faliing Rock: Hazy orange copper color with an off-white head. Earthy and piney hop foward with some light notes of diacetyl. Very hoppy flavor and bitterness. Light on the malt. The dry finsih was very long and bitter. hopscotch (11045) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 4, 2006
Cask... Pre-GABF ’06 at Falling Rock Tap House, Denver... Hazy golden ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Terrific retention. Notes of evergreen, grapefruit and mild toffee in the aroma. Medium bitter flavor. Medium-bodied and creamy with hardly any carbonation. Lengthy, tongue numbingly bitter finish. Not an overly bitter finish; the lupulin simply provides a pleasant Novocain effect on the tongue.
