Nice reddish brown color with plenty of hops and vegetables on the nose. Good flavor with well balanced hops and sweetness.
Hazy copperish hue with a nice sweet beet and pale malt cracker tone. The taste has some dry beet tones with a earthy pale malt flavor. Pretty dry and meh. Elwood (3347) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 8, 2014
Serving: Bottle. Gotta love going to a tasting and seeing odd brews like this pop out. Disturbing red color (but hey, there’s beets in there). No head. Earthy nose with a bit of grain. A touch of roasted beet sweetness with grain, malt, and a very light bitterness. Interesting. C1tySurfer83 (11) - - JUL 24, 2014
On tap at pub. I love beets. This was so good. Red brew with a pink head. Bright as hell. Hoppy and beat nose. Subtle beet-earthy flavor with a wine like quality and cereal notes throughout. Balanced well and easily smashed.
My only question... can I substitute for Jamba Juice? Ratman197 (15368) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 2, 2013

Pour pretty pinkish yellow. Nice belgian nose. Taste is really just a nice tripel style ale. Maybe a touch of earth, but nothing that really screams beets other than the color. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - FEB 16, 2012
(Draught) Pours a hazy red body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, beets, pepper, earth, and nuts. Flavor of beets, yeast, and nuts. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Draft at GABF. Pours a deep red with hints of brown. Nose is very earthy, light floral notes then noticeable clovey notes. There is a certain herbal nature to this as well. Earth dominates. On tasting, the clove notes are more subdued but the earthy notes really come across, as does an interesting squash type note as well. Pretty cool beer using odd ingredients. Nice.
